With a max class size of 23, West Metro Driving School has a more personalized, comfortable atmosphere. While others may have classes with 40, 50 or even more students per class, we believe that would take advantage of the trust parents put in our school to do one thing: provide excellent drivers education.
Snacks and drinks are essential keeping your student alert and engaged while learning. At West Metro, we offer a large variety of snacks and drinks for all students to help themselves to during our classes. There are no vending machines in or around our classroom.
During behind the wheel driving instruction, our instructors will come to your home to pick up your student and drop them off. You will not need to meet the instructor somewhere to start your student’s behind the wheel instruction.
The best way to learn to drive is when a student applies the information they have learned in the classroom to hands-on experience. For this reason, West Metro Driving School does not offer round-robin driving or group driving. Round robin or group driving when one student drives while others observe the student driving, and partial-credit is given to the students who observe. All of our instruction is done one-on-one with your student and a State certified instructor.
The experience that driving on local streets and highways gives is invaluable for your student. For that reason, we limit “cone” instruction to parking only, and seek to have your student on the road as much as possible. Your student will not be driving on a simulated cone-course pretending they are on actual roads.
West Metro Driving School has a team of friendly staff that will help you pinpoint the most effective way for your student to learn to drive. Whether we have a full class or just one student, we do not cancel defensive driving classes due to lack of students. This means you can rely on our school to be there when you need us, especially if you have a pending traffic court date or insurance renewal.
